CALL FOR PAPERS

The Kansas Association of Historians will host its annual meeting
National Archives at Kansas City Center, April 16 & 17, 2010.

The purpose of the KAH is to promote the study of history through a wide range of activities, to a diverse community of history professionals. Likewise, we encourage paper submissions or panel suggestions on a broad range of topics including historical research, teaching history, and/or museum or archival management. 

Please submit a one-page abstract of your proposed talk by January 29, 2010, to the address below.  Your abstract should be clearly titled, contain your name, and institutional affiliation.  KAH also encourages panel submissions.  If you are going to propose a panel, please include your abstracts together (3-4 people) and a title for your panel.  Abstracts can be submitted via mail or electronically.

The KHTA meets annually every spring to bring together teachers, scholars, students, and others interested in promoting history. The KHTA conferences offer a unique opportunity for contact and communication across schools, colleges, and universities. They also provide a forum for college students to present research papers and receive cash prizes.
